When using a Vue travel tumbler, the available capacity ranges from 12 to 18 ounces. The system offers brewing capacities of 2-3 cup, 3-4 cup, and 4-5 cup when utilizing a K-carafe container, which is essentially a very large Vue cup. When preparing a carafe, I believe the cup capacity is measured in standard 8 oz increments. To prepare a large amount of coffee for a travel mug, I recommend purchasing the Vue travel mug size containers. Otherwise, you would have to process two 6-ounce glasses. Before Keurig 2.0, I owned a Vue, and I can attest that the larger Vue travel cup produces an excellent cup of coffee.
