High-torque, high-power motor with gear drive. Slice quickly and efficiently using a food carrier that is tilted. When the machine is not in use, a specific button keeps the food carriage locked to prevent unauthorised access to the blade. MULTI-PURPOSE: 7-inch stainless steel blade cuts deli-thin to 3/4-inch thick food; product is intended for non-commercial usage only.
Slicing is quick and easy with its food carriage's cantilever design and tilted big capacity. Deflector and thickness guide may be removed from the blade food carrier food pusher for simple cleaning. A power surge protection safety fuse is located at the base of the slicer. Blade Sharpener Model 601 is Highly Recommended. Plastic, maybe, but fantastic nevertheless. Our $100 slicer (I can't recall the name) would often skip gears when meat came into contact with the blade, making it difficult to operate. We now have this model, and it's really fantastic. Faster than you can move the meat through it, in other words. It's fantastic!
The carriage used to load items into the slicer extends approximately 10 inches from its handle to the blade's surface. So if you wanted a 10 inch slice, you could cut a 10 inch diameter object. You could produce a longer slice, but it would necessitate feeding the food into the machine by hand and requiring you to keep an eye on your fingers...
The 615 is relatively simple to dismantle and clean. Even though I have five thumbs, mechanical engineering is not an issue for me. Equipment like this is not difficult to use. To cut the heel of a shoe, why would somebody use a food slicer to do so? When it comes to using tools, there is a well-known saying: "Use the correct tool and use it properly." Or anything along those lines. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best-designed slicer I've seen. Particularly in light of the price.
